The first book I read was a  Rolling Stones songbook :-).

I was 11 years old when I started to sing along with songs like "Not fade away,  Get off of my cloud, Spider and the fly and One more try".  Of course I could'n really sing, but it was a big challenge and lots of fun to get the timing and pronunciation right. I guess I have always been looking for challenges and growing as a musician ever since.

I have always had the most fun creating my own drum grooves and bass lines playing original music.

One of my favorite albums of all time is Layla and other assorted love songs by Derek & the Dominos. Their passion and the chemistry between the musicians who play on this album is magical. I get overjoyed listening to songs like Any day and Keep on growing. The same thing happens when I watch The Last Waltz. Awesome!!

Widespread panic and Tedeschi Trucks are on the top of my list. I have seen Tedeschi Trucks in The Royal Albert Hall in London and loved every second of it. Best concert I have ever seen.

There is so much good music. In my car I have several usb-sticks with thousands of songs on it. I love to play songs randomly: Calexico, Buddy guy, Allen Toussaint, The Bridge, Beth Hart, The Supersonic Blues Machine, Trombone Shorty, The Honey Island Swamp band, Common Linnets, Warren Haynes,  Robert Randolph, Bonnie Raitt, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Shovels and rope, Eric Lindell and the list goes on and on. All this creativity, talent, skill and passion ... nothing compares to good music!!!

In January 2017 we started working on our second CD and I am all exited already.
