Tecumseh

He was born under a falling star.

Named after the “Panther of the sky”

He grew up in a land of peace and balance.

Meant to be a savior one day

A child with skills of a full-grown man.

A huntsman as fast as a deer

Guide and teacher for his baby brother,

‘til the day they took him to war

They’d send him out naked and mocked him

Barefoot and alone in the freezing snow

To dive into the water of an ice-covered river

A dive to help him find his “Inner flame”

A rainbow stone supposed to be his flame

This little boy so strong …

He is strong and he is brave,

more than just a leader of the tribe

All the clans out there they know his name.

His mission is to claim their own land

On his horse he crossed the outstretched plains,

red-blooded and so determined

To gather all them widespread tribes

and take them to war and insanity

They’d send him out naked and mocked him

Barefoot and alone in the freezing snow

To dive into the water of an ice covered river

A dive to help him find his “Inner flame”

4 Moons till he found his rainbow stone

He had to be so strong, to obtain his “Inner flame”

Fought for his kin and the life he loved.

The Great spirit stood by his side

A heart so heavy, still so strong and pure,

the day he rode off to the sunset

He was born under a falling star

"Panther-eye" had to be his name

He grew up in a land of peace and balance

meant to be a savior one day
